Split Headboard Upholstered Bed With Black Metal Legs (HM-LB-2610S) does one thing differently: the headboard is two padded panels, not one. Each panel is buttoned and crowned with a soft camelback curve, they meet at a centre seam, and black steel uprights frame the pair at the outer edges and carry on down to the floor as legs. Two people sharing the bed lean back on their own cushion instead of being pulled toward the middle of one wide panel.

• Two independent headboard panels. Each panel is padded and buttoned separately and meets its twin at a padded centre seam, under a soft camelback crown — one backrest per sleeper, so nobody is pulled sideways by a shared panel.

Twin-share is the obvious use: two adults in one bed, each with their own backrest, which matters in hotel twin rooms and in staff accommodation where the same bed is used by different people on different shifts. It also suits adjustable-bed households, because the panels can be re-positioned independently if the frame is modified.

Teenager rooms and guest rooms use the 140 and 160 where the bed sits against a wall and one sleeper needs a backrest that is not the wall. For importers the small headboard carton is the selling point: the same 40HQ holds 559 beds at 140 cm, which is a full container of a size that normally loads at 300.

The split is a design decision with three variables — panel width, panel height and gap — and all three are cut here:

• Panel geometry. Panel width from 40 to 90 cm, height 80–120 cm, gap 0–8 cm. Asymmetric splits (60/40) are used where one side doubles as a reading backrest.
• Leg finish. Matte black as standard; brushed gold, chrome, or wood to match a bedside.
• Fabric and colour. Any fabric in our library matched to a Pantone or swatch, with both panels cut from one dye lot. COM accepted.
• Size to your mattress. 140, 160 and 180 cm are standard; 190 and 200 cm lengths stocked for the European market.
• Branding and compliance. Label on each panel, branded hardware bag, retail carton printing; FR foam and cover to BS 5852 or CAL 117.

What is the MOQ?

50 sets per model. Mixed models and sizes can share a container as long as each reaches 50 sets.

Why a split headboard?

Two people sharing a bed lean back at different angles. A single wide panel pulls both of them toward the middle and wears unevenly where heads rest. Two panels in place of one wide board solve both, and they pack into a much smaller carton.

Do the panels rattle?

No. Each panel is bolted to a steel cross rail behind the upholstery and the two meet at a padded seam, so there is no metal-to-metal contact and nothing to knock together.

Is 140 × 200 cm a double or a small double?

It is the standard European double (140 × 200). 160 × 200 is the wider double, and 180 × 200 is king. All three share the same frame tooling.

Can the panels be different colours?

Yes. Panels are upholstered separately, so a two-colour split costs nothing extra at container quantity.

How many fit in a 40HQ?

Approx. 559 in 140 cm, 514 in 160 cm and 476 in 180 cm, based on standard packing.
